PUT ON YOUR THINKING CAPS AND PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO your fellow business men. It is time to be thinking about the awards ceremony and who you consider to be deserving in the following categories; Citizen of the Year, Club, Group or Organization of the Year, Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year, Business or Industry of the Year, and Hall of Fame. This process will start at the next Membership Luncheon, Thursday, September 11th at Camp Galilee.

THE CHAMBER ANNUAL BANQUET IS FAST APPROACHING. If you would be interested in helping in the planning of this event, please call the chamber office at 876-4154.

THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR to play at the Opera House Theater this weekend. Show Times are Friday and Saturday at 7:00 & 9:30 pm; and Sunday 1:00, 3:30 & 6:00 pm.

UPCOMING DATES TO REMEMBER: 4th Friday Coffee and a Ribbon Cutting all in one, August 22, at Oasis Day Spa, from 8-9 AM and Ribbon Cutting at State Farm Insurance at 9:15 AM. Annual Banquet is Saturday, November 8, 2008. Christmas Lighting Ceremony is Wednesday, November 26, 2008. The 2008 Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 6.
